Easter Holiday Camp Information for Parents

Here’s everything you will need to know to before you book your child’s place:

Holiday Camp Essentials

To make sure that every child has the best possible experience at our camps, we ask that they come fully prepared for the day ahead. Here’s what they will need:

Weather appropriate clothing

The weather is often unpredictable throughout springtime, which is why it is important for children to attend camps prepared for what the day may have in store. We recommend that your kids are dressed for mild weather and bring along a coat in the case of rain.

Children will be taking part in a range of fun activities, which may vary between sports and development, so please make sure that they are dressed appropriately for the day ahead.

Lunch

Taking part in fun filled activities can often leave tummies rumbling. We ask that children arrive at our Holiday Camps with plenty of food for the day. We usually break for lunch around 12pm, giving kids the chance to refuel before taking on their afternoon activities.

Water Bottle

It’s incredibly important for children aged 4-12 to stay hydrated throughout the day – especially when taking part in physical activity.

Please make sure that your child arrives to our camps with a full water bottle (ideally one that is refillable!)

Our Easter Camps

We offer a range of fun individual and team games for children to enjoy while schools are closed over Easter. The activities available at each of our Easter camps depend on the specific type of camp you choose to book. We have four different types of camps:

● Multi-activity camps

● Multi-sport camps

● Performing arts camps

● Sport specific camps

All of our camps are great for both younger children and older children, regardless of experience or abilities.

Locations, Dates, and Pricing

Our Easter camps are available in venues across England. You can use our handy search tool at the bottom of this page to find your closest camp, or you can search to see what’s on in your local primary school.

We have day camps running throughout the Easter holidays. You can book your child’s place for the whole week, or just individual days – it’s entirely up to you!

Our prices vary for each area, venue, and course type. Some courses (those that run extended hours) are likely to cost more. Prices for each camp can be found on the camp pages.

Key benefits for your kids

Chance to develop key life skills

We know how important it is to parents that children have the opportunity to gain key life skills, and can develop them in a safe, nurturing environment.

Sports and other types of physical activity are often highly competitive, and children of all ages can feel like they are being left behind. In our Holiday Camps, fun comes first! We provide a strong basis for children to grow their confidence, independence, and improve their teamwork skills.

Introduce children to new activities

Each session over the Easter break is packed full of exciting activities that children may not get to experience in school.

Our most popular camps are the multi-activity sessions, in which we incorporate a range of outdoor activities and sports (like football and tennis) with indoor activities (like gymnastics and crafts.)

Introducing children aged 4-12 to new sports, games, and activities is a fantastic way to encourage a healthy, inspired lifestyle.

Improve academics and imagination

Studies have shown repeatedly that primary school-age children that take part in physical activity often do better in school and in their classes.

When attending one of our Easter camps, our Activity Professionals teach your children new skills and techniques that can also be applied within school – helping them to become more academic and imaginative students.

Staying active improves health and wellbeing

Staying active is vital for children at primary school age, and is key for encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England, recommends that children take part in at least one hour of physical exercise every day. This can be difficult over the school holidays, which is why we have made it our mission to keep your children active, healthy, and happy.

Keeping Your Child Safe Over Easter

In many of our venues, we are an Ofsted registered childcare provider, and the safety of your children is one of our top priorities.

Our Easter camps are led by fully qualified Activity Professionals, who work alongside each school and venue to ensure that children are staying safe, having fun, and keeping active. At each camp, we maintain a coach-to-child ratio of 1:16, allowing us to ensure the best childcare possible and look after all children with the care and attention they deserve.

In line with Government guidance, we’ve changed the way we deliver our Holiday Camps. Each coach has completed a level 2 qualification in Infection Prevention, Mitigation, and Management to prevent the spread of viruses in the school or venue.
